MCCALLA | Kendal Ray Gamble, age 19, of McCalla, died Feb. 21, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 12 noon Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Reno Baptist Church in McCalla. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Monday night from 5 to 8 p.m. at Reno Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents, Kenneth Joel and Monica Jo Gamble; his brothers, Kendric Edwin, Kenton Joel “Teddy,” and Kelton Jo Gamble; his grandparents, Billy Ray and Mary Jo Gamble and Larry and Jackie Syx; and his uncles and aunts, Keith and Kelly Gamble, Kevin Gamble, Brad and Dawn Syx, Zack Syx, and Larry and Heidi Syx Jr. Kendal was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was a graduate of Brookwood High School and an employee of Woodstock Tube. Kendal was a Christian and a member of Reno Baptist Church. He enjoyed sports, hunting, and being with friends. He was not a quitter, was polite and respectful, and liked his mama’s home cooking.
